Hear my prayer, O LORD; give ear to my pleas for mercy! (Ps 143:1 ESV))

Please be in prayer for Jessica tomorrow as they remove her foot.  She has had a battle with circulation in her leg with having many surgeries to save it.  Sandy

First, Our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all of you who have prayed for Don upon hearing of his heart attack. It happened the Friday morning b/f Mother’s Day. I took him to BMH when he complained of chest pain and once there, the pain escalated quickly. With medications, etc., his pain was brought under control. he had a nuclear stress test and some other tests and we spent the night at BMH. On Sat. morning, he was taken to MUSC by ambulance. We spent the weekend in ICU and Monday morning, he had a Heart Cath and a stint was put in. Only one stint, the right artery leading into his heart was over 90% blocked. Praise God, all went well, no actual damage to the heart, itself. The other areas that have cholesterol (plaque build-up) will be treated w/meds and diet. (Good-bye cheeseburgers, steaks, lots of the “good stuff”) Please continue to pray for his complete recovery and that he will follow doctor’s orders to take it easy for the next few weeks. (Right now, he has a rash from one of his new meds but we are off to the doctor’s office this afternoon.)

We truly felt your prayers and had a peace about everything. The cardiologists and all the staff at MUSC were wonderful. Thank y’all, too, for your phone calls and cards. It has really meant a lot to him. He is not used to being on the “receiving end.”

Please pray for my sister-in-law Robin. She is in surgery now. The port that she receives chemo thru has become infected and must be removed. Pray for safety, protection as she has leukemia and the hospital is a dangerous place for her with regards to germs and infections. Also pray for her comfort, healing and peace of mind as she will miss her daughter’s college graduation in the morning. Please pray for my brother Lee as he takes care of Robin as they go through this trial together. Thank you for your prayers. Danielle Mahomes

Dona Falzone had a rare blood disorder that can only be treated with having a bone marrow transplant.  Pray that she will be able to get the marrow she needs in time, if not this disorder will turn into that fast moving leukemia.  Sandy

A follow up appointment today has shown that Wendy has no pulse rate in her left foot.  Please pray for her.  Pray that the Doctors at Mayo can get her treated so the clot will dissolve in time to get the circulation back in her legs and foot.  Sandy

I would like to let you know that Bill Anderson went to Charleston this morning to see the doctor and had a C T Scan. Praise God, he received a good report. He is showing signs of improvement, the bacteria is only in one area now and is clearing up and is beginning to heal. Dr. Adams says it will take him a year to to fully recover from this and it will take day by day process. He has gained some weight and is regaining his strength. He still has a week of infusions of antibiotics. Later on,he will have to have reconstructive surgery but right now they are concentrating on getting him stronger. He says to tell you all that he appreciates all the love, prayers and cards for him and Elaine. They both are every so grateful for the prayer for this has carried them through a rough time so please continue to pray for them. He will have to go back to Charleston a month for a follow up. Thank you so very much for your prayers. We do give praise and thanks to Our Lord for Bill’s healing.

Please be in prayer for Wendy Baumgardner.  She is in the Mayo clinic emergency room right now.  She has had stents put in her arteries going into her legs. She has acute vasculitis and they worked for a long time to get the inflammation down in her arteries in order to put stints in to keep the blood flow going into her legs. Things were going well but now blood clots have formed on the stints.  She is very frightened.  Pray for comfort, peace, and healing for Wendy.  Pray for the Doctors that are treating Wendy as her condition is so rare, they have been working on experimental drugs in order to help her. Currently I am at Beaufort Memorial with Shawn. He has a severe rash that is burning and spreading and he is pretty miserable. We had the nurse across the street from our house come look at him and she told us to take him in ASAP. He started getting it with just a tiny patch the night of the wedding and it slowly got worse but last night it went full blown across his body and he’s been feverish and scratching until his skin is raw and bloody. I’m not used to being at the hospital for him so I’m a little out of my element and concerned. Please pray for healing and comfort for my husband. He is always my comfort when I am ill and I need him better. I will update as I know what is going on.

Please be in prayer for Carrie (Martha Ranches friend).  She has been on the prayer chain many times as she has gone through a long battle with cancer. She has been in denial and Martha is very concerned about her salvation. Martha is physically drained as she has been helping her mother since her fathers death and Carrie has called on her to come be with her. Carrie’s husband and children aren’t spending the time with her that she needs and that concern’s Martha as Carrie is alone. She thinks that Carrie has them convinced that she will be ok and her husband doesn’t want the children to see her the way she looks. The whole situation is making it very hard for Martha.  Pray for her strength tonight especially as she tries one more time to witness to her friend.
