Prayer for Christians in Muslim countries

Please pray for the world church-to wash our shame;
And for an world Christian movement ‘ let ’s empty the orphanages ‘
And for pouring out the Holy Spirit on the Muslim countries;
And for Israel-to place God on first place not the promised land;
And for Bulgaria-my country-to repent and to glorify God with good deeds;
And for me-I want to know what love is!
Thank you!
Be blessed!

Prostate Cancer Update – John Ward

I will have chemotherapy #9 on Tuesday.  I am learning that a lot of my “little” problems are due to the chemo. It kills the bad cells and some of the good cells. After this many treatments it causes bumps on my arms and face, digestion problems, swelling in my legs, various aches and pains. The PSA is still coming down and my doctor wants me to continue the treatments as long as that is happening and I can hold out. I think I will ask for a break after this one.

I have a “weakness” in my right hip that causes me to walk with a cane. I think this is probably due to the cancer and the chemo but my doctor is not sure. We have a lot of steps to climb at our house and they give me a lot of trouble. We are getting an elevator installed and that will be wonderful especially when we bring home the groceries.

I spend a lot of my time working on websites. I am glad God has given me a job where I can help churches and can still do it while I am having these chemo treatments. During the past few months I spent a lot of time on this one for Shell Point Baptist Church and another one for my neighbor, Gordon.

Thank you for your prayers, phone calls, thinking of me and the many beautiful cards with your sincere well wishes and thoughts. I hope to be able to go to church tomorrow.

John

Prayer update for Kathy Harrison

Kathy had the back surgery last Wednesday (Jan. 20).  The doctor declares that he is very pleased and Kathy’s prognosis for complete recovery is expected.  She has begun her rehabilitation program, already.  Her insurance claim remains unresolved; but the hospital administrator says it is “typical” for this carrier.  The family is optimistic that this claim will be eventually accepted.  We praise God for the results of Kathy’s surgery and the hopeful understanding regarding the insurance carrier’s normal approach to processing claims.

Prayer for Kathy Harrison

Kathy Harrison is scheduled for an extremely serious back surgery tomorrow (Jan. 20).  Today, she was notified by the hospital that her insurance claim has not been accepted by the carrier yet.  The hospital will resubmit the claim again tomorrow.  She asks for God’s blessing that this time the claim will be accepted and paid by the insurance carrier.  She is not in position to delay the surgery further, if at all possible.   Bill Scheerer

Not much new, Bill had another breathing test last Tues to see if his lungs are strong enough to operate (we haven’t received results)  He is due to have a biopsy on the node in the middle of his chest this coming Tues.then we feel we will be told how we need to proceed with the cancers.  Our prayer is that the doctors will have the wisdom on how to proceed, of course for curing the cancers and for God’s peace & strength.  We have felt His peace & strength – Praise His Holy Name!!!
