Prayer Warriors,
Prayer is needed for The Harvey family, missionaries in Kosovo. Randy’s dad, Glenn, has 2 heart blockages and is scheduled for surgery this Friday. All Glenn’s kids will be there and Randy is trying to get there as well. Randy and Lycia may have a difficult time as the travel agent has closed till tomorrow and they are trying to get here in time. So they are trying to get tickets at the airport. Please pray that tickets are available/reasonable and that their trip will be uneventful.
Also, pray that Glenn’s recovery will be rapid and complete.

Trevor and I would like to thank and praise the Lord for helping us through a difficult time last evening and to request your fervent prayers for Matthew’s healing and recovery. Last night Matthew sustained a neck injury while doing a front flip on gymnastic hand loops, which are attached to our swing…all under the watchful eye of mom. (”Hey Mom, look at me!!!!) 911 came , and he was taken to the ER on a back board and in a hard collar. After several hours there, they were able to rule out neck fracture and head injury. PRAISE GOD, and we came home last night with a diagnosis of severe contusion and bruising in the neck.
We are so thankful to the Lord for protecting his spinal cord and brain and bringing us “peace which surpassed all understanding” during this trial. He will wear a soft collar for two to three days, and his activities will be limited for at least a week. He is still in a lot of pain and has difficulty changing positions, so we would ask specifically for prayers for the pain and that his neck mobility would quickly return.
It is in the wonderful name of Jesus that we thank each of your faithful prayers for the brethren!
1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18
“Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
Please pray for healing for Buddy Bailey and his family as he recovers from having a pacemaker implanted this morning. Buddy was admitted to St. Joseph’s hospital in Savannah, Sunday and is expected to come home tomorrow.
Please continue to pray for Charity. She had surgery on Friday evening to wire her jaws shut. She has to stay that way for 3-4 weeks and can only take in what she can suck through a straw. She is home with her sister Faith to take care of her.
Thank you all for praying for our family.

I just wanted thank everyone for your prayers. The judge in Alabama dismissed the case and it goes back to AZ. I’m not really sure what happens next-I think we’re just waiting on the lawyers to do something. My sister is trying to get some sort of temporary custody and child support agreement done but no one seems to be able to help her do that. It’s very frustrating. Please continue to pray for them. My sister still has not been able to find a job and her husband refuses to send her any money because he doesn’t want to support her. Thank you again for your prayers.
Please pray for Dale Stewart. He has pneumonia.
Please pray for Ronnie vonFricken. He will be having his second hip surgery tomorrow morning, Tuesday, August 29, in Tampa General Hospital. He will be in the hospital for about 10 days.
