Our son-in-law, Tom Calcaterra, was discharged from the hospital earlier today. I just spoke with Cindi, and she said the hand is healing very nicely and the swelling is just about gone. We’d like to thank all of the CBC family who have diligently prayed for Tom and Cindi. Please continue to pray for their salvation. Our God is an awesome God!!

I am asking for prayer for my time with the ladies, this next weekend.There will be about 14 “Mom’s Who Have Lost Children” gathering at my Edisto Beach house, on Friday through Sunday. Even though many of us have never met, we share a common bond, and it has become a very special weekend for all of us. Please lift us up, for strength, and that the love of Christ, will just knock our everloving socks off! We do this in March and September, and it has been a blessing, to all of us.. I just spoke with my parents & the winds are increasing - they are presently about 60 mph. A tornado has hit near my brother’s home & has done some damage to surrounding homes but not to them. They are without power but the phone lines are still intact. Our prayer is that they will stay that way so that we can be in contact. The airport was shut down yesterday and all aircraft on the island were used to transport any tourists who were there but wanted to leave. As of 3 pm, it was predicted that Hurricane Florence would pass 44 miles west of the island. This is an answer to prayer as they had initially shown that it would be a direct hit. The worst winds are projected to be around 9 - 10 am on Monday morning. Please continue to pray that no more tornados will hit, that the storm will turn even more & for their continued protection.

Prayer is continuing to work for Lois Saunders. She is getting some of the tubes removed and as they remove them, they will be starting some physical therapy on her. She has been in the bed now for 9 days. Continue to pray that she will heal without any setbacks.
I am a mother with three children. I have a ten year old son and eight months ago I have had two new additions. Twins, a boy and a girl! I have had a 92 lincoln town car for the last 3 yrs. We have enjoyed this car and lived with any non necessities. For example; a broken air conditioner, a broken heater, a door or two not working, and a window or two not working. Since the recent additions, to have a door not open or no air conditioning is horrible. I am praying that the Lord blesses us with a mini-van. I’m asking for others to pray with us, to receive this mini-van. My pocket say that this is not possible. But I KNOW that with God all things are possible.
