Please pray for wisdom for Chris League while deciding on leaving a job that he in,to follow his heart and go into the Ministry.

Thanks to those who faithfully remembered (and to those who prayed as well)! I did indeed travel back to Sloan-Kettering on Tuesday for my annual aspirate… only to be told (amen!!) that I didn’t have to have it! The doc said my counts were good and my health seemed great so hooray for small miracles (especially since I always dread the appointment, it was really a gift!). On the larger miracle scale, hooray for three years out and a return to a life of babies and busy-ness that has nothing to do with doctors, hospitals, cancer, etc. No waiting now to see if the cells are mine or Kim’s. I appear to have unexpectedly and happily entered a place where I just get checked and go. Dare we get to just assume I will be well??

And thus,I send merely a quick and resounding thanks!

To God for the privilege of still being here. Raining today, and I just keep thinking of those hospital days that summer, staring out the window and longing to feel the rain on my skin. You’ll understand why I allowed Jackson and Jory to get soaked today, playing in the rain and mud for half an hour and followed by a nice, warm bubble bath. Thanks to you, of course, whom I know rejoice with me. Thanks for a miraculously happy ending. May we all live happily ever after for years and years to come. Amen!

And, of course, lest I become a liar, I hasten to add as I promised always to do: “Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name; make known among the nations what He has done, and proclaim that His name is exalted.
