Dear Prayer Warriors,
You may remember my asking for prayers for my dear friend Richard Veale. He was my voice teacher in College. He has prostate cancer that has metastasized to his back and lung and several other organs. He went through radiation this summer and seemed to be doing very well. His PSA went down from 57 to 3.2. However his pain has increased and he is loosing weight. When he went to see his oncologist, he said his bone scan looked better but apparently the radiation was not effective enough. So he will see a chemotherapy doc on the 31st of this month to schedule treatment. He is understandably concerned but trusting God. Please pray for the following:
1) for God’s healing whether it’s divine or the chemo or both
2) that he will be able to continue to work
3) for God’s peace and finacial provision
4) for his sister, Kay and brother Tom. She is saved, he is not
5) comfort for his family in the loss of his mother one year ago and the loss of his Aunt Joan yesterday. She was a Christian.
