Dear Prayer Warriors,
Nellah is back from the hospital and she is feeling better. She gives thanks to each of you for the prayers that held us up. We felt elevated and confident through it all. Our God is so good!. To Him be the glory.
God bless you all, Charlie and Nellah.

‘Please pray for Darlene and John Siegle and their grandson, Austin. Austin’s home situation is not a good one. The social services are now investigating. John and Darlene will be going to Kentucky at Christmas and would like us to pray that they can bring him home to live with them. They raised him until a yr. ago. They are members of Sheldon Baptist Church’. Cathy Scarlett
Please pray for my brother and CBC member, Shawn Conners. He is very weighed down right now and needs to feel God’s love, strength, and presence.
Shawn is right now on his way to MUSC to where he will admit his 13 year old daughter, Hailey, to ICU this evening for type 1 diabetes. Hailey was diagnosed this afternoon and will be in the hospital a few days to bring down her blood sugar to a safe level as well as learn how to manage this disease. Hailey needs our prayers also. While diabetes is manageable, she needs the Father’s grace for strength as she faces the reality of a lifelong disease.
Our father, MikeConners, is currently in ICU here in Beaufort. Shawn has been at the hospital with him for the past week and a half as the doctors are trying to get a very serious infection under control. He is stage IV malignant melanoma, and this afternoon it was discovered that the infection that started in his portcath and spread into his blood and just about everywhere else has also infected his heart. But bigger than the heart infection, he needs salvation. He has heard the gospel, but he must make a decision! Please pray that he will surrender to the Savior.
Also, Shawn needs to be out of his house in two days. He planned to move tomorrow, but I would love if he would let me help him with this so that he can be with Hailey.
Lastly, I want to lift Hailey’s mom, Laura. She needs to completely surrender her life to Christ. I see the circumstances in her life and believe that God is calling her to Him. Pray that she will hear Him.
Thanks for taking this family to Lord.
They have decided, after having put a tube in and draining off more than a liter of fluid, that the drain will stay in for a while and they will give her steroids and IV Lasix. I have just talked with her again, and she is feeling so much better, sounds like herself, and laughed several times. She is going, going, going from the Lasix, which is good, an tomorrow they will do another echocardiogram, after which they will probably remove the chest tube, since it hurts her so, and nothing is coming from it at the present. Apparently, there is no fluid in her lungs and she does not have any sign of fluid in the pericardium. All in all, she seems to be on the right course, and she told Charlie to go home, take care of the animals and get a good night’s sleep in his own bed, which he sorely needs.
Her biggest problem now is that the chest tube hurts. The Lidocaine has worn off, and every move causes it to hurt. Still, she is getting plenty of exercise going to the BR, which will lessen the soreness later. If they feel there is still too much fluid somewhere else, I rather suspect they will aspirate it. It is fast and efficient

Nellah Prezalor is being sent back to Medical University since Beaufort Memorial found fluid around her lungs, Heart, and rib cage. Pray that they can get this treated and pray for strength for Charlie. He sounds so tired and Nellah is very upset. Pray for comfort and peace for them both.
Nellah Prezalor was put in Beaufort Memorial last night with fluid building around her chest wall and heart. Pray for comfort for Nellah and pray for wisdom for the Dr’s in treating this. Pray for a speedy recovery.
Only God could have done what was done at the new building Saturday.

Jim Scarlett came home from the Hospital today. He is being treated for a bad infection and was very dehydrated and that is what caused him to pass out. Pray that the antibotics that he is on will clear up this infection and his health will be restored.
We have a prayer request for Anne Harper. She just had eye surgery and now has the flu. Please pray for a speedy recovery and peace thru this time. Thanks
