Thank you for praying for Remy Baracco, the teen injured in the auto accident.

He is at MUSC and doing well. The spleen stopped bleeding on its own so it must not have been a very bad punture. He will have to stay at MUSC till after Thanksgiving for therapy. Naturally, he would prefer to be home so this will be a difficult stay for him. Please keep this issue before our loving King.

Please pray for God’s mercies for Frank Dawson.  He hasn’t been able to eat in about 6 weeks and is barely hanging on.  Pray for strength for Janet and the family.

Typed by skip:  Mom’s surgery was a success!   They were able to remove the blockage in her carotid  artery and they stopped the leaking valve by putting a titanium ring around it. The triple bypass turned into a double-bypass instead, reason being is that her veins and arteries are a little smaller than usual, and they just didn’t want to take the chance at doing the third bypass within the time allotted.  Having said that, everything otherwise went very well according to the doctors.

I finally got a chance to visit her yesterday, and for someone who’s just come out of 6 hours of surgery, she’s looking very good.  The nurses all say she’s recovering extremely well.  Every time we went back there she looked better.  By about three o’clock the glint in her eyes had returned.  She wanted me to thank everyone for their prayers; as do I.  Skip

‘We have been under attack for a few weeks: 1st I had vertigo, then Billy was injured at work, then a pipe burst under the living room floor, we stayed in a hotel for 5 days, then our utilities/cable line was cut and today we were both under a lot of pressure at work. I was told that I could not be a christian and be a good manager. PLEASE pray for our protection, and for us to be steadfast in CHRIST. Thank you, The Hukill’s’
