Prayer for Shawn Conners and family
Filed under: Comfort, Protection, Salvation, Healing — Sandra Voegeli @ 9:44 pm

Please pray for my brother and CBC member, Shawn Conners.  He is very weighed down right now and needs to feel God’s love, strength, and presence.

Shawn is right now on his way to MUSC to where he will admit his 13 year old daughter, Hailey, to ICU this evening for type 1 diabetes.  Hailey was diagnosed this afternoon and will be in the hospital a few days to bring down her blood sugar to a safe level as well as learn how to manage this disease.   Hailey needs our prayers also.  While diabetes is manageable, she needs the Father’s grace for strength as she faces the  reality of a lifelong disease.

Our father, MikeConners, is currently in ICU here in Beaufort.  Shawn has been at the hospital with him for the past week and a half as the doctors are trying to get a very serious infection under control.  He is stage IV malignant melanoma, and this afternoon it was discovered that the infection that started in his portcath and spread into his blood and just about everywhere else has also infected his heart.  But bigger than the heart infection, he needs salvation.  He has heard the gospel, but he must make a decision!  Please pray that he will surrender to the Savior.

Also, Shawn needs to be out of his house in two days.  He planned to move tomorrow, but I would love if he would let me help him with this so that he can be with Hailey.

Lastly, I want to lift Hailey’s mom, Laura.  She needs to completely surrender her life to Christ.  I see the circumstances in her life and believe that God is calling her to Him.  Pray that she will hear Him.

Thanks for taking this family to Lord.

Prayer for Beckie Keisling
Filed under: Protection, Healing — Sandra Voegeli @ 8:57 am

Please be in prayer for Beckie today as we go out to Vanderbilt in Nashville, TN for her MRI at 3:00 and appointment with her NO (neuro-oncologist) at 4:30. She’s been having unexpected symptoms that caused her doctors to postpone the chemo and get scanned sooner due to possible tumor growth or brain edema. Needless to say we are a little more apprehensive about this trip. Please pray for safety for us and a positive report from the doctor. Thank you all!
