Jim Whitte has been diagnosed with colon cancer. They are testing him now to see if it has spread to his kidneys and lung. Pray for wisdom for the Dr’s who are treating him and pray for Jim, that he will have peace and comfort.
I just wanted to send an update on my grandmother, Liz Dorris. Since transported she is doing much better. It was determined that she had pneumonia. They are working on treating that. The nurse said the antibiotic she is on usually takes about 5 days to really work and she should feel a dramatic difference in the way she feels tomorrow. They did another EKG and it did confirm blockage in the lower left side of the heart. They want to do a heart cath. but have to wait on the pneumonia to clear. She will then have to make a decision to stay in Johnson City, TN (where her children live close) or to return to Nashville, TN (where she resides) to have the procedure done.
