Judy Fluegel has had a very rough time at MUSC.  Both times the doctors tried to use her feeding tube to supply nourishment, her abdomen got very swollen, she was in severe pain, and she vomited.  They needed to put a new pick line in her with three attachments  so she could be fed intravenously.  Her veins were so bad that the only spot they could put the line in was right behind her pacemaker. Which increases her chance for a stroke. They spent 4 hours prodding and poking her without local pain medication. The line can only stay in for a week.  Please pray  that she will be able to eat orally without pain or nausea.  Her body can not handle more medical procedures.  She is in room 665 West at MUSC.   Today is her birthday and I know that it has been difficult for her to spend Christmas, New Years, Valentine’s Day and her birthday in the hospital.  Thank you for your prayers.
