Please add my dear friend Angie Smith to the prayer chain. She will be having neck surgery tomorrow morning to fuse 3 disks. Please pray for peace as she goes into surgery as she is very nervous. Also pray for a speedy, pain free recovery. She is very nervous about one particular side effect. Apparently she may have difficulty swallowing for 2 days to 2 months. Pray that this will not happen. Please have our CBC prayer warriors pray for a friend of mine,who is living on Edisto Island right now. Minna will be 86 years old tomorrow, and has developed Muscular Degeneration in her right eye. Please pray that Minna will be relieved of this condition, or either be given the contentment to live with it. She is living with her son, and his wife, and she is unable to drive. Both of them work, and are unable to spend much time with her. She misses the fellowship of a good church body, like she had in Aiken.

Jeannette Pearce is still in the hospital and will be having a cardiac catherization tomorrow morning to check for blood clots and any artery damage. Please keep her in your prayers. Pray for wisdom for the Dr.’s as they take care of her.

There is a new teacher at my school who is a single mother of a four year-old. Her name is Lynn. I feel really led to try to shepherd her because she is new to Beaufort and doesn’t know anyone. She is overwhelmed by her special education caseload. Please pray that I would listen to God’s guidance and be a light to her and that she would be receptive.

I ask for prayer for myself and my family. I have fallen away from my relationship w/ Christ over the last year and would like to renew my dedication to him. I pray for forgiveness and healing and also for a financial miracle for my family. We have gotten so strapped down with debt we can barely get by. I know it is because we are trying to survive on our own merits and not trusting in the Lord. I pray for a pure heart and the faith to return all my trust to the Lord.
