   ‘Please pray for my son, Matt, who moved from our home in Maine back to Beaufort a few months ago.  He needs steady work and the mindset to stick to things when the going gets hard.  MOST importantly, he needs a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ!  Thank you so much for your prayers.  We have not lived in Beaufort for years but we miss our friends and the ministry of CBC.    ‘Sara came through her surgery very well. She got the test results back and they found that it is not cancerous, however if she had waited 4-6 more months the cells could have become cancerous…so she will have to undergo some more tests and constant evaluation. On another note, she still requests prayer because her vehicle was broken into this morning and some of the items in her vehicle will not be covered by her insurance. She also just found out that her fiance may be laid off in January from his job with about 200 other people in the company that he works for. So please pray for her as she goes through some trials. I need prayer bad for a job.  I need strictly a dayshift job due to the 
outreach ministry that I believe the Lord wants me to do.  I have been in 
some terrible job situations the last 3 jobs I have had so I just don’t 
want to get ahead of God I want the job he wants me to have! Vicky V

I would like to ask that you continue in prayer for my family. We are still seeking jobs here in Virginia. We had interviews today for jobs at the hospital here. Please also pray for the sell of our house. We are still staying with family and won’t be able to get another place, or be able to continue with our mortgage on the house, until it sells. So far we’ve only had one person look at it from what we’ve heard.

Also, thank you for your prayers for my sisters migrains. She still is having some migrains but they haven’t been as frequent. She appreciates your prayers very much.

The pastor of the church I go to back home, Joel Wentworth is extremely sick. He was diagnosed with autoimmune Hepatitis. He and his family live in Emmett Nebraska, a small farm rural town. He is the pastor of Dorsey community Church, Green Valley Sunday School and also leads Bible Studies in Naper and Emmett, and has a mens group that also meets once a week. This past week he was flown by life flight helicopter to Clarkson Hospital in Omaha Nebraska because of low blood pressure, and weakness. He is currently in the ICU and they are running a number of tests to try and figure out if there is anything new going on. A CT scan with dye and x-rays so far have shown no new problems.

His wife Linda is at his side as much as possible. They have 11 children the oldest who just married this past summer. He has been fighting this disease for about 2 or 3 years and the family’s finances are running low. God has been gracious to them and they have met all their needs thus far, and his disability was approved however will not begin receiving checks until around Christmas.

Prior to Joel becoming the pastor to the above churches he was the director of Camp Witness, a bible camp for kids.

Please pray for God’s will to be done with him, and for God’s hand to be on the family.
