‘A teacher who works in our building was just diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer.  She goes in for surgery a week from monday.

 ’I am in need of a dog/house sitter. My 6month old grandson, Jaden Taylor is dying of a rare neurological disorder and has only months to live. I need to go to California to help my daughter and her husband. Please pray for me and my family. Cheryl Kramar 846-6679′

Pray for Ron Voegeli as he will have heart surgery tomorrow, Thursday, August 30th. Pray for wisdom and skill for the doctors and comfort and peace for Ron and Sandy. Pray that the outcome would restore Ron’s heart to functioning perfectly and that he will recover quickly from the surgery.

We are sending out a mass invitation to join us on Friday evening  February 16 at  - 7:00 p.m. - for prayer.   We are hosting one of the in home prayer meetings called by the church prior to the opening of our  new worship facility.  The purpose of the meeting is to gather in various homes across the county to pray for the various ministries that our church has available and to pray for a smooth transition to new schedules, new buildings and all the other things that concern the Body at CBC.

We will begin at 7 and end around 8-8:30 with the prayer time and then have a time of fellowship over drinks and a light snack afterwards.

Please feel free to bring anyone that you know that would like to join us in prayer.  There are other prayer meetings that will be going on at the same time.  You may have one in your neighborhood and so you might prefer to go to that one.  I just wanted to let everyone on my email know so that they could come if they wanted to - ALL THE WAY TO LANDS END!

Please pray for Stephen King. He went to the Dr. today about a disability claim with workmans com. Please pray that the decision will be fair.

Please keep Pastor Bill and family in your prayers.  Pray that his treatment will rid his body of the cancer.  Pray for Lynn and Katie and Bill as they deal with this cancer.

Thank you for your prayers!  They have been felt!  Now for an update.
Some of the tests are still pending, but what I know so far is that I have myro-plasma pneumonia and Reactive Airways Disease as well as over 40 allegies to foods(mainly) two toxic molds and other inhallents.  We were unable to find what was causing my throat to close, but I will be returning this Wednesday for further testing.
Now for requests,
I am scheduled to sing December 3rd for Messiah.  My breating is still difficult.  I can’t get through a phrase with out feeling dizzy and light headed.
Please pray that if I’m unable to do the solo work that we will be able to find someone else.
Also pray that we will discover what is causing my throat to close.

Randy Bates is Catherine Ceips’ campaign manager.  In fact, he’s pretty much the right hand man for the entire Northern Beaufort County Republican Party.  Last night while he was removing the signs from the top of the headquarters building on Boundary Street, he fell off and crushed his wrist.  He drove himself to the hospital (but then, that’s Randy).  It could have been much worse because he fell onto concrete.  When asked how bad it was, the Dr. said on a scale of 1 – 10, it’s an 11.  The surgery won’t be until tomorrow.  Please pray for comfort for Randy, guidance and clarity for the Dr. and a speedy and complete recovery for Randy.  Thank you, Sara  

My brother, Zach May, fell and hurt his mouth last night on his bicycle. He had to have stitches and now he is at the dentist. One of his teeth is broken, both front ones are jammed and they are concerned that they will not be able to save them. They are trying to wire them as we speak to see if they are going to live. Please pray that the teeth will be able to be saved and he will not need further dental work. Thank you.
